Elliott aprovecha error de Bell y triunfa en Martinsville
Chase Elliot sacó provecho de las circunstancias y se llevó el triunfo en la Truck Series este sábado.

Chase Elliott fue una revelación a nivel nacional en el mundo de la NASCAR por la Truck Series en 2013, cuando con 17 años, ganó por primera vez. Sus ofertas para la Xfinity Series y Cup no le impidieron participar en la categoría de las camionetas en 2017. En Martinsville este sábado, el hijo de Bill Elliott aseguró su segunda victoria en la serie.
A pesar de haber ganado la primera etapa, Elliott no tuvo una carrera fácil y la victoria llegó gracias a un error de Christopher Bell, a falta de sólo 17 vueltas en el óvalo de media milla. El piloto de la camioneta #4 lideraba, cuando tocó a Austin Cindric, quien iba rezagado, trayendo la décima bandera amarilla de la carrera, perdiendo la punta y aún por encima dañando su coche.
En el reinicio, tras una bandera amarilla, Elliott ganó la segunda etapa, y aseguró su triunfo.
La próxima etapa de la Truck Series sucede en Kansas, el 12 de mayo.
