Menard lidera la práctica final en Indy y Suárez 27°
Paul Menard logró el mejor tiempo en la segunda y última práctica en Indianápolis mientras el mexicano Daniel Suárez quedó fuera de los 20 primeros.

Justo cuando la sesión de práctica final de 50 minutos llegaba a su final en Indianápolis, Menard registró una velocidad de vuelta promedio de 185.079 mph para saltar a la cima de la tabla de velocidad.
Momentos después, el Toyota número 11 de Hamlin golpeó la pared en la curva 4 y las llamas inmediatamente comenzaron a salir de la parte trasera de su automóvil.
Hamlin salió del auto sin presentar heridas. Ahora tendrá que ir por el vehículo secundario, lo que significa que arrancará el domingo desde la parte trasera de la parrilla.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. terminó como el más rápido (184.151 mph) y Erik Jones, quien ganó la carrera del fin de semana pasado en Darlington, Carolina del Sur, fue tercero (183.550 mph). Chris Buescher y Matt DiBenedetto completaron los cinco primeros.
El mexicano Daniel Suárez firmó una mejor vuelta promedio de 180.785 mph para ubicarse 27°.
