Pole de Gabriel Rodrigo en Moto3
El hispano-argentino Gabriel Rodrigo logró su primera pole position en Moto3 en la clasificación para el Gran Premio de la República Checa en Brno.

Rodrigo sufrió una caída en el comienzo de la sesión clasificatoria, por lo que debió salir a todo o nada en los minutos finales. Fue allí donde sacó provecho de la succión de Marcos Ramírez para marcar el mejor tiempo, desplazando a Romano Fenati, quien había dominado hasta ese momento pero se quedó a 0s150 de lo conseguido por Rodrigo.
La tercera posición fue de Juanfran Guevara, completando el 1-3 para el equipo RBA BOE Racing Team, mientras que Joan Mir, líder del campeonato, y Nicolo Bulega completaron las primeras cinco posiciones.
Bo Bendsneyder se ubicó sexto, delante de Ramírez, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Livio Loi y Philipp Oettl para cerrar el top 10 del clasificador.
Por su parte el mexicano Gabriel Martínez-Abre ocupó la 32° y última posición con su KTM, a 3s8853 de la pole.
