Bulega, del VR46, logra su primera pole con 16 años
El italiano Nicolo Bulega, de 16 años, ha conseguida la primera pole position de su vida en su quinto gran premio en el mundial, Binder y Navarro le acompañaran en la primera fila de la parrilla de Moto3.

El piloto del equipo VR46 apadrinado por Valentino Rossi, el jovencísimo Nicoló Bulega, ha conseguido la pole position del Gran Premio de España de Moto3. El italiano, debutante esta temporada, ha bajado el crono hasta el 1.46.223, quedándose a un suspiro del récord de la pista, en poder de Jack Miller desde 2014 con 1.46.173. El sudafricano Brad Binder ha sido segundo a 0.2 décimas, mientras que el español Jorge Navarro ha sido tercero a 0.4 completando la primera fila de la parrilla. Bagnaia, Antonelli, que ha sufrido una aparatosa caída, y Bastianini han completado una segunda fila italiana, mientras que Mir, Guevara y Fenati saldrán desde la tercera.
Canet ha sido undécimo, por delante de Quartararo. Jorge Martín P14, el invitado Arenas P16, el argentino Rodrigo P23 y María Herrera P33.
