Bird impone el ritmo en la segunda práctica en México
Sam Bird estableció un nuevo referente en el Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez durante la segunda práctica libre.

El británico Sam Bird logró el mejor tiempo en la segunda práctica libre del ePrix de la Ciudad de México, en una sesión sin incidentes mayores. El integrante del equipo Virgin consiguió un registro de 1m07.672s, superando por 0.119s a Antonio Felix da Costa.
Mitch Evans, Jaguar, se ubicó en la tercera plaza con una vuelta de 1m08.025s, una diferencia de 0.353s respecto al puntero.
Sébastien Buemi, Nissan, logró la cuarta plaza seguido por Stoffel Vandoorne, líder del campeonato con Mercedes, cerrando los cinco primeros.
Robin Frijns, André Lotterer, Pascal Wehrlein, Lucas di Grassi y Jean-Eric Vergne cerraron los 10 primeros.
