Mazepin cierre los test de F2 como el más veloz en Abu Dhabi
Nikita Mazepin, piloto de Carlin, lideró los tiempos en el último día de pruebas post temporada de la FIA F2 en Abu Dhabi. Schumacher, se luce por la tarde.

Nikita Mazepin registró un 1:50.473 en los primeros minutos de la mañana de este sábado y nadie fue capaz de superar el registro del ruso durante el resto de la jornada.
Su intento se quedó a tres décimas del que Louis Deletraz (Charouz), quien marcó la referencia en los dos primeros días de test, logró el viernes. El suizo marcó un 1:50.124 que acaba como el mejor tiempo de los tres días de pruebas.
Detrás de Mazepin acabó Callum Ilott, junior de Ferrari, que se quedó a tres milésimas de segundo. Deletraz cerró el top 3 del sábado, por delante de Ralph Boschung (MP Motorsport) y Dan Ticktum, el nuevo fichaje de DAMS.
Los pilotos del top 5 fueron los únicos en bajar de 1:51 hoy, y todos lograron sus mejores registro por la mañana.
Los equipos no pudieron intentar una simulación final de clasificación por la tarde, ya que algunas gotas de lluvia impidieron que hubiera mejoras de última hora.
Mick Schumacher fue el más rápido por la tarde para Prema, pero su 1:51.569 estuvo a más de un segundo del tiempo que Mazepin había logrado en la sesión matinal.
El alemán había sido incluso cuatro décimas más rápido que ese registro por la mañana, completando el top 10 por detrás de su compañero en Prema y en la Ferrari Driver Academy, Robert Shwartzman, Yuki Tsunoda, Guanyu Zhou y Pedro Piquet.
